Perfect Pairings & Something to Say for CTC#64

Hello & welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop!

Each week the Crew members will take inspiration from a section or theme of the current Stampin' Up Catalogues to create their projects.  The acronym "CASE" stands for "Copy And Share Everything" or "Copy And Selectively Edit"!

This week the CTC Crew are choosing a project from the Sale-A-Bration Catty to CASE.

We had a very special someone celebrating a momentous occasion on Australia Day, so I chose very patriotic colours for this card:-

My trusty stampamajig came in very handy to create the angled feature panel which combines sentiments from the SAB set "Perfect Pairings" & the Annual catalogue set "Something to Say".  Colours are Real Red, Whisper White & Night of Navy.

I liked the angled panel so much that I replicated it on the inside of the card:-

Here is the inspiration for my card, from page 10 of the SAB catty:-

CASE-ing the Catty #62 - Sale-A-Bration Inspiration!

Hello & welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty's Blog Hop!

Each week the Crew members will take inspiration from a section or theme of the current Stampin' Up Catalogues to create their projects.  The acronym "CASE" stands for "Copy And Share Everything".

This week the CTC Crew are choosing a project from the new SU Sale-A-Bration catalogue to CASE.  This little book is overflowing with great products & wonderful ideas!  :)

I have created a pocket for a Stampin' Up! white note card using the Mini Treatbag Thinlit dies & products from the gorgeous Botanicals suite of products:-

The pocket is made from a print from the Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper (DSP), with some Sale-A-Bration Botanical Gardens Vellum layered over a strip of the yellow linen print from the same pack of DSP.  The sentiment comes from the Cottage Greetings stamp set.  To add a little bit of bling to the flowers, I have stamped the centres & then added rhinestones which have been coloured black with a Sharpie marker.

My inspiration came from this card on page 5 of the Sale-a-Bration catty:-
